Kolam at a Kalyana Mandapam
Doing a kolam for a special occassion at a Mandapam is certainly very different from doing it at home.
I usually resort to making the kolams with my hands. To make the kolam look bold and elegant, the lines are slightly thicker, and the preference is for bold and prominent designs, and not delicate or detailed ones.
